Guangxi Kuding(广西苦丁)

The county of Daxin in Guangxi is hailed as the “Hometown of Chinese Ku Ding Tea”. In 2003, the China National Association of Quality Agricultural Products Development awarded the title of “Hometown of Chinese Ku Ding Tea” to Daxin County. Located in the southwest of Guangxi, Daxin County boasts a picturesque geographical environment, bordering Vietnam. Being in the subtropical monsoon region, the climate in Daxin County is warm and humid, with deep soil rich in nutrients that are conducive to the growth of various plants, especially the Ku Ding tea tree. Among the villages in Daxin County, Longmen Township’s Kuding Village and Wenming Village are known for producing the highest quality Ku Ding tea. These two villages, due to their unique geographical environment, advantageous vegetation conditions, high concentration of negative air ions, and pollution-free original ecology, yield Ku Ding tea with a clear green color and a rich and sweet taste, garnering a reputation both domestically and internationally.
