How to make green tea?
Here's a simple recipe for making green tea:
Ingredients:
- 1-2 teaspoons of loose green tea leaves or a green tea bag
- Hot water (temperature between 160-180°F or 70-80°C)
- Honey, lemon, or mint (optional)
Instructions:
1. Heat the water to the appropriate temperature. It's important not to boil the water as this can cause the green tea to taste bitter.
2. Put the green tea leaves in a strainer or tea bag in your teapot or cup.
3. Pour the hot water over the leaves and let it steep for 1-3 minutes.
4. Remove the tea leaves or bag from your cup or pot.
5. Add honey, lemon, or mint to taste if desired.
6. Enjoy your freshly brewed green tea!
Note: It's important not to overbrew green tea as it can get bitter. Steeping it for 1-3 minutes is usually sufficient. Also, the amount of tea leaves and steeping time is a matter of personal preference, so feel free to adjust to your liking.
